During this tour, between sea and mountain, you will be dazzled by the richness of the Languedoc region landscapes. You will enjoy Sète and its maritime charm, you will discover the villages of St Chinian, Roquebrun, Faugères and will end your stay at Pézenas on Molière’s step.

Sète was born because Louis XIV was looking for an opening at the Canal Du Midi, which construction just had begun under Paul Riquet’s supervision. The « Venise of the Languedoc », where were born Paul Valery and Georges Brassens, is rich of maritime traditions and cultural heritage. You will slip on a boat under the nine bridges of the city and will admire its colorful facades. You will enjoy the mediterranean sweetness of life on the other shore of the Etang de Thau. You will stop at Bouzigues, a very charming fishermen village, which was able to keep its traditions ans its charm of the past. Without forgetting that between vineyard landscapes and lagoon areas, some wine tasting planned for you will make you discover the Picpoul and the Noilly Prat Vermouth, two unique wines.

On the next day, you will visit the locks of Fonséranes which represent without any doubt the major work of the Canal du Midi. This masterpiece which is classified as World Heritage by UNESCO and which story started 350 years ago, allows the connection between the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea.

While crossing the vineyards and at the front-mounts of the Cévennes, you will discover Saint Chinian, its little places, its narrow streets and its wines. St Chinian is famous because it gave its name to the popular Appellation. While traveling on one of the most beautiful roads in France with grand panoramas, you will arrive at Roquebrun, the « Small Nice of Languedoc ». Roquebrun is famous for its micro-weather and its merditerranean gardens. Before to discover Faugères, its wine and its terroir of schist where ochers, oranges and deep blues are blending in each other.

On the last day, you will discover Pézenas, city of Arty and History, paradise of flea-market and famous for his classified historical downtown. You will go on Moliere’s steps during an exceptional show; you will stroll in a maze of alleys before to end your stay with a wine tasting in a mythic wine estate of the Languedoc region.

    Discover this charming fishermen village which is famous for its shellfish farms. It is completely oriented towards the Etang from which it gets its main resources.

    Visit of a winery at Pinet, where you will taste all the wines make there. You will also stroll in the wines in order to discover this unique grape variety.

  6. 3:30pm VIP visit of the Noilly Prat cellars at Marseillan - Wine tasting

    From the cellars to the place where hundreds of oak barrels are exposed to the Mediterranean sun, your guide will escort you to make you discover the Original Dry Noilly Prat unique fabrication process. The visit will end by tasting this essential ingredient to the famous Dry Martini cocktail.

Day 2

  1. 10:00am The Locks of Fonséranes

    At the feet of Béziers, you will admire this major work of the « Canal Du Midi » which is an emblematic monument and which was renovated in 2017. You will be dazzled by this majestic place and during a immersive show, you will discover the « canal du midi » story which is classified as World Heritage by Unesco.

  2. 11:30am Saint Chinian - Wine tasting

    Saint Chinian which is famous for its wine, is also known for the ruins of its 9th century Carolingian monastery and for its church which harbors a 18th century organ which is classified as Historical monument. You will take advantage of visiting the House of Wines and to taste wines from the local Appellation.

  4. 2:00pm Wine tasting

    Wine tasting in a flagship winery which is known for its diverse soils and techniques of winemaking. You will discover the wines of the estate in a building which was created by a famous architect agency and which offers a superb panorama on the domain.

    You will visit the village, its narrow streets and its beautiful garden. Roquebrun is famous for its micro-weather which allows orange trees, lemon trees and other agrumes to grow in the winter. Inside the gardens, you will also discover a variety of Mediterranean plants and mimosas.

  6. 4:30pm Faugères - Wine tasting

    In a true House of wines, you will discover the work of more than 40 winegrowers who are passionate by the Faugères Appellation. You will taste the best vintages of the Appellation and also the famous « grappa » who made the reputation of Faugères during the 20th century.

  7. 5:00pm Arrival at your hotel

    Take the time too relax at your hotel, a 19th century mansion built in the middle of the wines and where you will find authenticity, refinement and friendliness. In addition to this luxury setting, you will find a wine-tasting cellar, a gastronomic restaurant and a Cinq Mondes Spa.
