Beautiful region full of incredible landscapes and villages, the « Côte Vermeille » is a meeting
point for two giants: the Mediterranean Sea and the Pyrenées. The beaches nest in the coves and the ports
in the hollows of the bays. This is the Southern coast, and also the closest vineyard from the Pyrenées,
which gave quality dry wines and its famous natural sweet wines.

The « Côte Vermeille » is like a color palette : the blues from the sea, the whites from the tops of the Pyrenées,
the greens of the vines, the turquoises of the majestic creeks and the golds of its beaches. It subjugated the painters from the
« Fauviste mouvement », such as Matisse and the ones who created the cubism such as Picasso and Braque.
The rich terroir variety of this amphitheater oriented to the Mediterranean Sea offers wines which are full of personality and originality in this dual scenery of sea and mountain. It is a promise full of pleasure and emotions.
Your stay will start at Collioure, old fisherman village, full of poetry and sweetness of life. Nested in a vines lined creek, this « Côte Vermeille » jewel has inspired many artists because of its natural light and the brillance of its colors.
The second day will be dedicated to the visit of Banyuls, the « Anse des Paulilles", and the Maillol museum while discovering wonderful sceneries of sea and mountains. Isolated creeks, eroded headings and tortured landscapes will be crossing your trip. Don’t forget that the Banyuls wine was born here.
The last day, we will invite you to discover the inlands up to Céret where you will visit the Modern Art Museum which reunites the 20th century best painters artworks.

The « Anse de Paulilles », a wild beauty
Between Port Vendre and Banyuls, the « Anse of Paulilles » extends its sandy beaches and its turquoise waters. You will discover and old dynamite fabric which is now classified as Natural Site and you will admire the nature which regained its rights. The exotic flora designed by the last director intricates with the local flora. The old buildings became a belvedere, a hosting house, a restoration workshop for Catalan boats...
Wine tasting at the cellar of one of the wineries which became the reference of the great wines of the Roussillon.
